This all day long.

But I'm 100% certain we wont get that approach because the feller now calling the shots is daft as a 'kin brush.

The hope is he realises he's out of his area of expertise so brings in a person who does have it mate.

All said and done Roman at Chelsea imo has not got a clue about footy either but he hired people who did. And despite his meddling they maintain success because of that.

Really that's the best we can hope for now, it's clear moshiri will never be a owner who makes smart footy decisions, so need to safeguard against it by getting in someone who has the ability to make the meddling unnecessary or at least a lot less.

He ditched us then. What Rooney was like in 2003 doesn’t have any relevance to the flump we currently have, does it?

He didn't ditch us, we needed the money for the bank, I agree on the difference in class but just look how many points we have got this season when he hasn't been playing? I did read a stat that this season its a grand total of FOUR.
He has been great for us, put it this way without him we didn't have a chance of staying up, OK that might be more down to bad management, but his personal contribution even when he hasn't scored at times has been well worth whatever United got knocked off the Lukaku deal for him

I don't know? Your the one making assumptions based upon age so it's clearly relevant to you lol

Lookman is class, so was Rooney was he came onto the scene. You think if lookman is destined for the same success and Wayne he'll stay too do You?

Nope me neither...

Shown promise at a young age and that they can be of value to the team. Work hard and never shy away, even when not at their best. They haven't swaned around like they own the place, with no positional discipline just whacking balls (and mostly losing it) because they haven't got the pace anymore.

They also haven't got behind the wheel of a car whilst bevied, weeks after claiming that they're here to improve the team.

The man is a washed-up hasbeen who has no place at a club wanting to progress. He is a throwback to the days of Gazza and Ginola.

Man Utd wanted rid of their expensive problem and we've been the mugs to help them out. Ask most neutral fans their opinion on Rooney.

All of that rolled into the fact he completely ditched us at the first opportunity and disrespected the club that made him numerous times whilst at United. We're an absolute joke taking him back.

That’s a bit ‘arsh.

Rooney may or may not be a good signing for us but stone me, he has been way, way better than Gazza and Ginola were when they joined.

For anybody who has not read it, try and see the article written by Giles Smith in yesterday's Times, entitled Big Sam tries out the four - four - tutu.
Had me in stitches. Truth hurts though when you see how much of a figure of fun we have become.
If I was bright enough I'd try and post a link, but please read it. It will be worth it.

Allardyce: Any team outside the top six can go on a losing run and risk relegation

Mathematically, he's correct. Burnley could get zero points from the last 11 fixtures and go down on 36. Arsenal has 45 and is safe.

It's not very likely, of course, but there is something to be said for having urgency to get to 40 as the immediate goal and then refocusing on 7th place.
