Nearly 39 mate (not sure what that's got to do with it) . Don't expect us to go and win games at the Emirates but I expect a team put out to put a shift in for the thousands of our fans that spent their hard earned cash to get there. There is getting beaten after 90mins and theres going out on the pitch already beaten and that's the lowest in my book. The players from the clubs below us are going out to win games and are well prepared with a game plan to at least put up a fight. We just continued to play players who have continued to not show up or bust a gut and look totally unmotivated.
waved the white flag before kick off with his team selection

Just because you may have seen Everton beat these sides away but I have no recollection of it so obviously may have a different perspective.

Agree with everything else you've said. I've just found it hard since about October time to see any hope for this season, it's been pathetic. Next season I will have a completely different set of expectations and will be far more in line with what you're saying by the way. It also angers me that a side like Bournemouth can turn up at Stamford Bridge and come away with a 3-0 win.

he has completely lost respect from players and fans, he never has bothered against top teams where ever he has been, but will grind out a result against so called weaker sides, maybe three one nils out of the next five games gives him nine points and he will be happy, but we wont, yes I want the points, but the man is cluelesss

And risk an empty goodison nope.

I hope so mate he needs to start being ruthless now, if we have any hope of sorting this mess out. We get safe, then it's Big Sam, Walsh, Kenwright, Elstone the lot out and professionals in every position in. I just have this nagging doubt that Bill is in his ear, why give BS an eighteen months deal if you are going to sack him in the summer?!

Toff mate, i actually think we'd do better till the end of the season sacking him right now and giving it to Rooney as player manager till seasons end LOL

only partly joking there as well...

More serious - IF Fonseca is willing to take it then the moment he says yes, Sam should be sacked and out the door with his entire staff and Walsh

I think we would like Fonesca. And I think there's every chance he'll leave Shakhtar at the end of the season.

It's just a case of getting there without too much damage.

Just take Sam’s salary, the summer war chest and go and quietly tap up the top 6 managers in Germany, France and Spain. Throw in Fonseca and whoever else takes yer fancy. Just make sure Sam is known to be outta here and hopefully top 7 secured by May.

Get the replacement manager done early, ready to add top players to work with a top manager, get rid of the dead wood like Schneiderlin and kick on in the Summer close season.

It’s not that difficult, given our ‘project’ and the wonga we have visibly splashed over the past 2 windows

Mate, if Sam gets top 7, he ain't going anywhere.

I reckon if done smartly, there’s a way of having Sam secure top 7, patting him on the back, etc. And at the same time, letting it gradually be known that Diego is taking over in the Summer
