#TeamMartinez

Genuinely mad isn't it.

We've got, after £300m+ spent in four years:

  • One good goalkeeper out of three, all brought in since 2013
  • A broken down left back, and his stand-in actually doesn't look like he should be playing football beyond about League Two. He has the positional sense of a polar bear in Qatar
  • One England international centre half who waves a foot at shots, a Welsh international who is utter rubbish, Jagielka who apart from a massive performance tonight has looked broken, and a good player in Holgate who is just coming back to form
  • One decent, long term injured right back and the reincarnation of Tony Hibbert as his understudy.

................I can't even be bothered to go through our hopeless midfield and useless striking options, our producing very little of note wingers. And that's just the first eleven.

All washed down in the red wine jus of Allardyce assisted by Sammy Lee.

£300m. Three hundred million.

Just a reminder that he has now won only 3 of his nine games, gone out of the Cup at the first attempt, tightened the defence up so much that we've conceded 6 goals in 3 games (two against the mighty Bournemouth), scored only two in the last five, two shots on target TOTAL in the last four games....

And was described by @Eggs today as a 'miracle worker'.
