Sam Allardyce appreciation thread

He did a good job tbf

he didn't though did he

football is as much about entertainment as it is about results, he failed quite spectaculary in that regards and the results weren't anything above ordinary, we beat teams we should be beating ( especially with the players we bought in Jan and coleman coming back ) and then bent over for the bigger teams

tell me im wrong I dare you

He was brought in and given the remit to simply avoid relegation. The board was pathetic and panicked in getting him in. Given the massively low expectation - as probably any one of us could have avoided relegation with that squad plus a 50m investment in January - he did pretty well to get us to the top half, even if the football was horrible to watch and he came across a smug, arrogant get in interviews.

Sam just asked on talksh**e by Alan Brazil if Everton can get back to being a top three side. He was quite positive that they could. Mentioned the land for the stadium being "bought" and plans for it quite well developed. Seemed to indicate that Moshiri was making funds available. His only caveat was that they need to spend those funds wisely on the right players.

I see the fat fraud is saying that he knew two months before that he was going to be sacked, because he is too old and wise. Well guess what Sam, we all knew you were getting sacked, it really didn’t take a lot to figure it out.......
He did know as my relation who he is a godparent to on of his relations child told me so at a meal they have now and again - around the same time I itk'd it on here............;)
The doubting thomas on here at first were sceptical as Sam was saying in the media he was staying - then the classic we all knew he was going when he gladly got the bullet - 2-2 with ten men away we had more shots and scored two goals.........on sat without Sams dire football........

Spot on 1 he should have been banned from the game 2 - he is a mercenary looking out for clubs in trouble - we panicked.........

This. Hence why his media profile has suddenly increased again to go along with the start of the new season because he is skulking around waiting for the first person to be sacked. The only thing is, Allardyce has been forced out by the fans at a few clubs now due to his negative approach, add that onto his sheer greed that led to him being sacked by the national team, he is not a very popular person among football fans in general. The game has also changed in terms of style and tactics and so on and i think he may struggle to find another top flight club, even one that is struggling tbh. I did laugh this morning though listening to him on talksh*te and having a proper go at Arsenals new manager and his tactics against city. It almost made me want to ring up and ask him if he would like to tell the listeners what he has won compared to Emery's 3 Europa Leagues.

I hate Sam Allardyce and I was embarrassed to have him as our manager. BUT given just how bad that team we had has now been shown to be (look at the amount we tried to ship out after only a season) I don’t think he could’ve done it any other way.

Thank christ he’s gone though.

he did what he was supposed to, theres no doubt he didn't fail at his job performance wise, it's just the style of play, the smugness the delusional, the fatc we went abar 4 games with a shot

then after it the interview the otherday saying he done an excellent job, that's whats wound me up, fat nonce

He`s the king of popcorn and deluded self promotion mate.

Just forget about him.

Anyway he`ll be at somewhere like Southampton by Christmas, saying the same things all over again.

The Count of Monte Bisto also said this morning:

"I'm not sure he's good enough for United (Mina). He didn't get a game for Barca and yet clubs like United and Everton seemed desperate to get him because played a few good games for Brazil in the World Cup."

Brazil: "You mean Colombia?"

The Count: "Oh yeah, Colombia."

The fat, clueless Brexiteer.

;)

I fancy it will be Leicester.
He`d ruin a team like Leicester.

Even though they lost to Man U, they looked like the home team for large parts of the game - fast, fluid, attacking footy.

They play the exact opposite of how his teams play.

I know the fans don`t like their current manager, but Allardyce would relegate them.
