Jo you must be Fuc*ing mad...........Saha & Yak everytime

Yak and Saha are out and out strikers. Jo is a support striker, a pretty good one at CSKA with Wagner Love as his partner.

Not saying it couldnt work, but Jo to me has the skill to be a good support player.

Agreed on Jo mate, though we havnt realy utilised him a lot or played to his strengths. I think our lack of creativity in the centre hasnt helped there were times his link up play with Arteta, Pienaar and Osman was sublime. I would see him playing of the Yak rather then Saha to be honest, the Yak is awsome at controlling bad balls and making something happen.

Plenty of them on Sat. Sometimes our passing is atrocious,

Tim Howard has called Saha the Torres of our team, stating that he is just as important to us as Torres. High praise indeed. We all know he's absolutely class as long as he stays fit. Torres class? Probably not, but then right now nobody is. Must say though, he's nowhere near as important for us as Torres is for Liverpool. Saha gets injured it's business as usual for us. Torres gets injured, goodbye top 4 for Liverpool!

Why get rid of a player who's scored 7 goals in 16 starts for the Blues? Not a good idea at all.

And Yakubu, Saha and Jo can all play together. Yakubu and Saha, like Jo, are perfectly capable of dropping deep and linking things up.

Defo should have taken that £9m from them Turkish lids. Hes done nothing this season, I was right about him after all, always right me.
I know I will be in minority, but I thought at that time and I stand by this, that we should take the money, if Saha would be interested in leaving for turkish team. We would miss his goals (and overall quality, never doubted by me) , but maybe overall would be a better team if we would spend this 9m on creative central midfielder.

Had Everton taken the money for Saha, it would have been Jo and Vaughan to get the season started. Would have been a big mistake.

Saha doesn't want to play in Turkey - he's got things to prove in England which he's starting to do with his current form and fitness.

It has to lift the rest of the side to know that when Saha is ranging up front, goals are always a chance. Gives them confidence to play forward and play off Saha.

The question is if Saha has continues his form and has a good season for the Blues, does Everton pony up to keep him?

Should be interesting to see how it pans out up front.

Saha deserves to be in the team on form and the level of quality he has shown up untill this point, but i am sleeping slightly better at night knowing the Yak is in reserve should Saha get an injury. So what happens if the Yak where to get three on Thurs - presuming he plays - he would be pretty peveed not to be playing on the Sun no?

Alternatively you could play them together but dont think Moyes will go for that to be honest to accomadate the midfeild.

All good to have options and depth though - think the Yak will come out top myself.

Keeps em both on their toes. Best way really.

Very true mate, I know he could play both together - dont think he will, for the whole season anyway - i wonder would either consider their future if they werent getting games Saha's on a limited contract and the Yak would have options (look out Arry's about).

*AJ springs to mind!

Nah, Yak wont go anywhere. Too settled I think. Arry has his love-boys in Defoe and Crouch so he wont look for strikers.

Saha isnt reliable enough fitness wise but is a machine when fit and able. Best of both really but Yak would be more favourable in terms of keeping for fitness.
