The trump blimp May have had nothing whatsoever to do with Khan, I agree, but his sneaky little smiling face on the TV suggested otherwise.

The correlation between Teresa May cutting the police budgets and the rise in knife crime can be traced back to before Khan’s mayorship. Knife crime as a trend has been on the rise all over the country so it’s interesting that your blaming Sadiq Khan for what is a national issue.

What do you want the mayor to do Pete ? Why are you more angry with the mayor than the government who actually have real power to make a change ? It's a pretty strange mindset to have such strong views on this subject but then continue to presumably vote for the government who are primarily responsible for the rise in knife crime.

Who’s accepting it? Were you accepting the rise under Johnson’s reign?

It’s intetesting it’s only an issue to you when a Muslim is the mayor. Also interesting you don’t lay any of the the blame at the white Tory government. Who are obviously more to blame. If Corbyn gets in and Johnson wins the mayorship again I’m sure you’ll continue to berate the mayor for the crime in London.....obviously I don’t.

I’m sure you can explain this and I’m just been hysterical. It is interesting though.

If he has little or no power then get rid of him and the post anyway. The Mayor and the Police are supposedly responsible for the strategy of policing London. It is more about how the Police deploy and act as it is money. Other cities seem to cope. At the moment the Met does not prevent crime nor actively ‘get in the faces’ of those that carry it out before they do. They react, then have to spend an obscene amount of manpower dealing with a murder and it’s investigation.....no one thinks this is easy, but whatever strategy they are currently following is having little effect......

In Merseyside public order crime risen by 47% and violent crime by 25% . I know greater Manchester had a higher murder rate per 100,000 people than London and I’m sure earlier this year using the same per 100k other areas did have a higher rate . I couldn’t say whether that’s still the case but it’s enough for it to say the rise in crime and violent crime can’t all be khan’s fault .

Just checked Merseyside’s knife crime is at its highest level for 10 years.

... and "incompetent" is to put the most polite spin on his achievements. For what he spent on the Garden Bridge - which was never actually built - they could have built social housing for about 800 people.

Well that wasn’t even close to what was said. When did I say anyone was without bias? Everyone carries bias around with them based on a variety of criteria.
