i need some help here, going out to the cricket tonight annoyingly, the same time as the game. I'd like to watch the game as a whole

  • I have freeview+ so thought it'll be fine, i'll just record ITV4, but for some reason it won't record the match. It'll record anything else, i'll be fine to record ground force if i wanted to, but stupidly won't record the footy.
  • Won't be able to pause my live TV as it only last for half hour i think before it catches up to live TV.
  • ITV online you can only pause live time, once you click play again it refreshes to catch up with live
  • ITV Online is also not like iplayer where you can click "start this programme from the start"
  • I presume the channel wouldn't be able to watch straight away on catch-up?
Any alternatives?

Cricket?

yep, bought a lovely season ticket at glamorgan.

Seen one game so far, the only one they've lost this season in lovely windy, cold and rainy conditions, all other 4 games have been rained off and yet today it's going to rain mid match as well as it being like a monsoon here today.

... of course they've played every single away match and won them all.

Id go for a narrow 4-4-2 diamond as I think we're weak on the flanks.

Pickford
Martina Keane Williams Baines
Schneiderlin
Davies Gana
Klaassen
Rooney Sandro

Wont happen like but that's what I'd do.

I will be violently ill if we cock this up
sick-bucket.webp

I'd keep one of these handy, we never make it easy.

I only ever saw one game. England v Australia when I was a kid. I remember Botham came in & whacked it all over. That wasn't bad, but the rest....... Why does every player need to rub their bollox on the ball? What's that about? IMHO, the wicket keeper should chuck it straight to the bowler or get a yellow card.
They used to try make us play it at school in summer. Soon gave in due to psychotic behaviour lol.

to shine the ball on one side to make it move in the air more - harder to bat against if it's moving. They keep the ball off the ground for the same reason, hence why everyone chucks it around in a circle.

We must play Davies and sacrifice either Schneiderlin or Gueye.

This lot are utter turd. Why play with two defensive CMs?

Probably should have sacrificed a DM in the first leg, as they parked the bus for 90 mins. Tonight they'll be a lot more open and going for it I suspect. So 2 Dms seems reasonable to me.
