Just been trying on a rather snazzy Adidas rainjacket and found myself saying to the fella "nah mate, have you got any Nike Windrunners."

While were at it...I know sponsorship deals bring money in, but wouldn't it be nice if Uefa - with all their hand-wringing, meddlesome ways that usually get sod all achieved anyway - decided that club's shirts are the flags of their community and banned them being besmirched with ads for ale, online betting, mobile phones and all the other spiv shit? If they did that they'd be tolerated a bit more. Imagine all those shirts posted above without those stupid ****ing elephants and scrawl on them. They should be a thing of beauty and tradition...it's amazing how we now take for granted the commercial vomit all over them.
Hafnia?

Shirts without a sponsor look weird these days and the elephants drinking out of a fountain is a pretty picture.

Was in a sports store yesterday when I came across the new Nike Euro jerseys. They all have nice material, a slight change from the Dri-Fit used the last two seasons. The collar on the French jersey is sexy.

"exclusively designed" could just mean that Nike will be the only authorized manufacturer of kits. This seems like an obvious statement, but it's the type of puffery commonly used in marketing and press releases.

Agreed. I am willing to hope Nike give us a distinct jersey, but I'm just seeing "exclusive" as they will be the only brand designing our jerseys or that our jersey will be exclusive because of the Everton badge.

I'm sure Vellios will look boss wearing the Nike Mercurials with the new kit. His the only lad that rocks the Nike Mercurials in our squad. His young and hip..
