There's an audio clip on the link where he says we've come in to have a look at him.

I have no idea who he (Graham Hunter) is though, and as soon as we're mentioned alongside an implication of signing someone I immediately class it as jarg.

He is a wonderfull football corrapondant, calling him a pundit doesnt do him justice and has prob the best connections in the game especialy in Spain and Italy.

The fact that its him carries a lot of weight with me.

As for Drenthe he was a wonderfull talent and signing for Madrid at the wrong time held him back massively myself and Gaz bigged this lad up back in the day, before he went to Madrid. TBF i can see why Moyes would like him hes a powerfull lad who can play in a number of positions winger/forward/outside right/left. His contract musty be nearly up at Madird as well.

Before they stopped paying him Drenthe was the business for Hercules last season, and has been said Graham Hunter is not a mug (or at least not the standard of mug usually found on Talksport).

English bloke based in Spain and works for Sky Sports on La Liga and knows all the ins and outs of all Spanish clubs and gets all the inside info on players and teams etc so if he says where looking at Drenthe then you can bet we are.

But it obviously depends on departures from us but that would be a great last minute deal for us IMO, IF we have any chance of signing anyone.

I know nothing about Drenthe and Jamo's opinion of him isn't reassuring.

Apparently though he's very fast and those words alone make my scrote tighten.

Hunter is a very good pundit, and knows everything going on in spanish football. Drenthe would be a very good addition and his style would suit the premiership perfectly. He,s not an out an out winger but is very direct, would be great for us.
