If you’re not arsed about England, or International Football that’s fine.
But the weird “can’t support a team with a Red in it”, when there’s literally as many Blues in it, is just a completely bizarre statement.
If you can’t separate the two, it’s just bizarre. I hate Liverpool, but some of my best mates are Reds. But by that logic, I should hate them all by association.
I’d swap England winning the World Cup, for Everton winning the league cup 100x over. But that doesn’t mean, I can’t want both, which would be a rare moment where I can share Football memories with my mates, regardless of their club.
