However, I honestly believe that if he does decide to leave, then the vocal minority of know nothing idiots who attend our games and thrive off abusing our players will have contributed to it. And that is not a dig at people who have been disappointed with his lack of progress at points in his career. I am talking specifically about the fans at Goodison and the aways who jump on every mistake our players make and try and run our players down in the attempt to act as if they have a superior footballing knowledge by being overly critical.

Just my opinion, but I doubt Barkley would even have contemplated not signing a new contract if it wasn't for some of the stick he faced during difficult periods from so called Everton supporters.
