It would be a shocking dereliction of duty by the Board to not get a contract for Ross over the line. I seriously doubt that they could cope with the public fallout directed at them, as this would be the ultimate confirmation of the total incompetence of BK and RE. This assumes even more significance with the possible exit of Lukaku.

The loss of the 2 best young players around would seriously imperil Moshiri's vision: he has previously stated his intention to keep our best players. Let's hope it happens, or the on-field "project" would be in tatters.
