I hope for both, that he doesn't let us down if a good offer is on the table, and we don't get let down by the negotiators by offering a sub par offer thinking he'll resign for emotions.

Unlike the Lukaku situation I have not seen any comment from Ross or his agent , for that reason I think any comment about what may happen is pure guesswork.

I guess Barkley has a stronger hand now that Lukaku has said he wants out. It wouldn't reflect well if we lost both.

Hopefully Barkley can recognise the impact that Koeman and his staff seem to be having on his game and he signs on for longer to see how far he can take it. And more importantly that the board recognise Barkley's talents and offer him a good contract.
