I remember when fans actually got behind their players, especially the local lads playing for hometown club. It's seems to be the opposite now, hate on everyone until they do something you approve of then back to hating again. Football fans have become quite a despicable bunch these days.

I would say Ross has been given a lot more leeway than none local lads over the last 2 seasons.

I disagree, he gets way more than anyone else despite playing reasonably well. I say reasonably well because he isn't performing anywhere near as good as we know but he cares about playing for Everton and it must kill him hear his own fans boo. Not cool IMO.
