The ball at least stuck to him today. Was far better cycling of the ball and ran well with it. Still needs to work on making himself available and was far too static without the ball. Hopefully he is aware of it. Needs to look at de Bruyne too see what he should be doing with and without the ball.

It's harsh but compared to KDB you see what difference decision making makes because technically there's not much between them.

He's not a kid. There are many players who Ross is often compared to or mentioned in the same breath with who had done a whole lot more by the age Barkley is now. Granted, different players develop at different speed, but just putting things into context. Barkley should be be approaching the peak years of his career in the next 5 years, not still thought of as a young and upcoming player. If it's going to happen for our club, then we need Barkley to step up to the plate and become a man, not turn into another Anichebe.

Problem being is he will never be good enough for a percentage of the fanbase.
I am at a total loss of the expectation people put on his shoulders, and in the main it is simply down to him being born in Liverpool.
I believe we have a talent on our hands and we should be grateful he has come through the academy and knows what it is like to be a supporter.

Like I said fro some he will never be good, and is an easy scapegoat
