I do get the feeling there has been some sort of discussion because he is not going to feature for Chelsea this season. The only downside I can think of is that Lampard didn't use him much at Chelsea and he will have a good idea on his ability.

Kenwright does seem to have a hard-on for bringing ex-players back to the club. I mentioned on another thread, I can't think of another club who have re-signed so many players.

My point exactly, if he comes back people will blame him, like its his fault, they will do that rather then hope he plays better then he did last time.
