But in all honesty, would this be the worst deal?

Point to prove (maybe), still technically better than half our team, loan with Chelsea paying some of his wages..

If we can get loans for Gana and Barkley, buy Gilmour..

Then with the 3 additions so far and hopefully another forward then we have a lot more quality, depth and a team that will likely be pushing for 10-14th places which will be the progress we need.

More deadwood out next year and the younger players are a year on in their development. Extend Barkley or Gana stay for another year if possible and they still have something to offer.... if not, expect we will be in a better position to then strengthen again with another couple of players.

Kenwright does seem to have a hard-on for bringing ex-players back to the club. I mentioned on another thread, I can't think of another club who have re-signed so many players.

Well at least we get them back on the cheap unlike Chelsea and Man U who spunked fortunes on Lukaku and Pogba who were wastes of space.

Don't do it Everton. Dele is taking the role of faded prodigy looking for redemption. Plays the same position, has less baggage and more upside.
