Agent has played a blinder for Barkley. Barkley has properly done us over but some serious questions need to be answered about how the club thought it was acceptable as to just keep ringing the agent and getting his voicemail rather than being proactive with either the agent or Barkley and just turning up at his offices. Surely that wouldn't be too hard? Barkley deserves everything he gets from the fans for his behaviour but yet again we have been badly let down by the club. 'Bill thought we didnt have anything to worry about because he is a local lad.....' its this type of antipathy towards Barkley that probably put the seed in his head in the first place to go. It isnt just Barkley and his agent that have cost us 20 mill plus its the abject efforts of our club to make sure that should we need to sell we get the most for our assets.

His agent can either said no or not answering any calls. The scenario is the latter.

If he did not want to enter in talks you would not be able to find him, ever.

I don't know why people are getting so upset him leaving, he did nothing of any consequence for Everton
during his career, we cannot miss would we didn't have, he is a fraud who will soon be found out
He cost the club 20m, that’s why. I feel embarassed that he was a blue to have come through the club from the age of 11 and treat us this way. It’s true there is no loyalty in football anymore.

Very interesting. I never had him down as that type originally but seeing him get beaten up in that bar set my alarm bells ringing about what type of character he was.

Pathetic isn't it. There are ways to leave this club where the fans will not only forgive you but also welcome you back, and not just the really nice characters like Steven Naysmith but I seem to remember Marouane Fellaini signing a transfer request just so he'd waive a loyalty bonus as a sign of good faith to the club that had developed him in England. The fact people are wishing this ratsnake well is insulting to the players who actually have left this club without burning down every bridge in sight.
There were a few rumors before that started to worry me but that was my realisation point too. No class.

Delighted hes gone. Chelsea's problem now.

It was a deal we agreed because the boy didn't want to play for Everton."

That's two comments in 24hrs from senior members of the club publicly stating players aren't interested in playing for Everton.
