Survival is not good enough for them whereas it is seen as achievement at Everton. Martinez took us to the brink of a relegation battle and was allowed to continue for another season. He may well have got another had it not been for the fan demonstrations. Even then there was an air of 'why did you all have to kick up a fuss' about his firing with Bill saying he was reluctant and one of the most difficult decisions he'd made. The buffoon had us botto half twice in a row with the league's best striker in his side.
