Ok he got it wrong today but had one hand tied behind his back after the injuries of late. Some may say that is his fault anyway as we have no depth in certain areas but today just underlined how much further we need to go having made some decent progress this season under him. I am happy to let him take us on next season and look forward to seeing who we bring in in the summer.

Today was a bad day, probably the worst one under Koeman but he has had more good days than bad and certainly given us more to smile about than the previous couple of seasons have.

He said yesterday that the team were frightened over the past two seasons and he didn't know why. I'd suggest he's indulging over the hill rubbish like Baines and Jagielka and Mirallas every bit as much as his predecessor did.

That is what is most frustrating about today's performance (or lack of!) because they were nothing special in the slightest. We made it easy!

Taking away the shambolic display today and how low it can make us feel, for those saying they can't seen an improvement is laughable.

We've still got a long way to go, and one element of that is to be able to rid ourselves of this curse, but there's been many positives steps.
