Romelu Lukaku

Yes he didnt get much service but his touch was poor and he didnt contribute anything else really.

The problem with him is that he claims to be one of the best, but the best make a difference, even when they are out of form or having a bad game- they still contribute . The big game players can be relied on to produce moments that win games when the team need them. Rom goes missing.

He talks about ambition of CL football and a win on saturday would have put us right up there in the mix to actually qualify, but he is completely anonymous - thats the difference between him and the Lewandowski's, Suarez's etc. Even when they are struggling or not getting much service, they use their own ability to make things happen.

Reports today that Ibrahimovic is off to LA Galaxy next season.

Lukaku might be familiarising himself with his soon-to-be new surroundings tonight.

Shaw + £70M if that happens.

So what your saying is if he gets no service, standing around with your hands on your hips is the viable option?Closing down defenders high up the pitch oddly seems to get results for some teams.Or are you saying he isn't fit enough to put in a shift?

But he didn't stand around with his hands on his hips. But I don't expect him to be running back to the edge of our own are either...

For Rom to be at his best he needs support and space. He had neither - for a plethora of reasons, some of which were his own making - on Saturday.

You say he's a big powerful player which is spot on, but he isn't the new Drogba. He isn't a target man - he's more akin to Sturridge or Vardy.

And I'm all for pressing, but one player pressing on his own isn't useful. You need to press in packs. We didn't do that on Saturday.

He wants CL. Man Utd will have to win the Europa, because they aren't finishing in the Top 4.

He'll get a massive wage and be playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world and in front of nearly 80,000 people every other week.

I'm sure he'd defer playing in the CL for another season on that basis.

He would go to Man Utd. If that happens I reckon we'll get £50m plus Rooney. However, it would mean Mourinho admitting he was wrong to get rid of him, and I'm not sure that has ever happened.

Who are these 'top' players that we keep hearing about that win every game they play because they never have a bad day and always turn up with their A game?

I assume they all play for the teams with the best fans, who force their team to improve and win games just through sheer willpower and refusing to accept second best.

Well Hazard's probably the best player in the league and he had a whole 12 months worth of bad days last year.
