We know he can be a beast when in the mood, so much more of that please, and less of the 6ft 3 15 stone guy standing around looking disinterested and getting out-jumped and out-muscled by twitchy fullbacks.

Obviously would be good if we could get more, but talk of 65 is ludicrous. We've not had any offers & I don't buy "they've been put off by our valuation". When has that ever stopped clubs before?


Listen, I'm 1000% behind big Rom if he can knuckle down & get back to his best. IMHO, he has a few limitations that will prevent him from ever being in the top bracket. They've been there to see all along. He didn't do anything in that Italy game that we've not seen before. That slating he got from Lineker & Henry was painful, but you couldn't argue with a word of it.

Let's hope Koeman can get his head straight & get the best out of him.

But now there aren't even the goals from out of nowhere to save him. He needs to realise he has massive holes in his game, and he needs to work on them and compensate for them with a bit of effort instead.
