Dixon's performance could just be solving a huge problem here (albeit about ten other problems are making themselves visible).

Most important is he is not a mistake waiting to happen. I’m not that nervous if we face a one on one situation down the flanks anymore.

He is worth several run outs (to give him so called PL experience). Done some good tackles although looked out of position (or not close enough) some times. Not too shabby at the moment at all

The big question mark will be how does he handle attackers that can shift on a dime, but so far there is nothing but evidence that Dyche should give him the nod over Young. This guy can become a player.
