Id take Danny Simpson as a rb, hed be cheap and its not an area i want to see a chunk of the budget drained for improvements sake. Then turning my attentions to right wing i would be spoilt for choice with that budget and wouldnt know what to do.

Donovan + Somebody who can run the midfield either as anumber 10 or on the wing, Isco, Holtby whoever.
An attacking midfield trio of
Donovan - Holtby - Pienarr
Or
Holtby - Dempsey - Pienarr

Would be brilliant.

Another player who would be good for us would be Dembele, who could be used as a CAM, or in CM with Gibbo and Felli pushed up.

Danny Simpson is one of the worst RBs I've ever seen.

I'd rather have Jacobsen back.

We dont need a replacement.
We have Felli, Gibson and at a push Heitinga who can play the defence midfielder role.
We need some genuine pace in the team down the flanks, a couple of wingers and possbly a pacey striker would be my priority.

Iker Muniain from Bilbao would be a good partner/challenge to Jelavic

Lorenzo Insigne from Pescara is the kind of young talented winger we could get on the cheap and has proven credentiials, he had a big hand in Pescara winning serie B.

Until Kenwright sells or dies, we will have to work with potential.
What we dont want is a team of journeymen.

Talking of journeymen, my mate who is a huge Rangers fan reckons we are signing Carlos Bocanegra.

Bill's put a sneaky buy back clause of £1m in the fine print, RODWELL IN!

Seriously though Johnson please. And I'm going to throw Keisuke Honda out there too.

Honda is an amazing shout, however he is on about 16billion quid a week.

I'd go with Simpson, but I do love Hibbert. Hes shiote going forward though...

Debuchy is only about £6.5 million, which is a good price all things considered especially seeing as he is only 26. Dempsey and Donovan are slightly older (29 and 30) so less of a return but then we would have USA's best 3 players in our team, surely a marketing dream? Go on tour etc...

And Johnson, well when ive seen him he is quality, but alot of City fans don't seem to think so, but i've seen him play in person for City quite a few times and he has always impressed. We could probably get a good price, problem is wages...

Can only see Munian going to Barca or Real

luciano Narsingh would be nice....shame he has just signed for PSV.

Holtby looks good, but a loan would be ideal first.

Im n ot liking this Dempsey and Donavan link, 2 30 year olds, for about £14 million!!!!!!!!!!!!
