he's been fit for two months pretty much. He was fit all season if actually needed. He just wasn't, because we had Joel.
he isn't great but as far as back-up goes, he's alright, for now - because we have other areas that need to be strengthened.
Joel has said himself we have offered him a new deal, so it's up to him whether he stays or goes. If he goes he gets my best wishes because he's done well for us at times and he deserves to be a regular starter somewhere.
It's easy to pick out any goalie's bad days. They all have them, even the very best.

Yeah but i think we would still need an actual back up keeper to replace Joel, Stek cant be seen again in an Everton shirt, one of Koemans jokes that was, but if anything happened to Pickford and we had a cup game coming up we would need a back up that is worthy of a start in a decent game.
Its a shame Joel wont stay but after the way he was unfairly treated he deseves to find a club

'an actual back up' - I know what you mean matey, but what goalkeeper worth their salt comes to be second fiddle?
For now, I think we need to concentrate on getting the outfield players in. Then, if there's an option to improve on Stek, we can do so.
