So, be honest, did you enjoy watching his teams away from home? The spanking in Lisbon against Benfica was just so typical of many games away from home. Agreed, at home it was a fortress....but the football wasn't as entertaining to watch.....it couldn't possibly be with the likes if Anichibie, Neville, Denis, Jo etc

SAF recommended his pal. He got interviewed and got the job. SAF didn't give him the job. Every man and his dog knew the successor to SAF would fail so it took a brave man to take it on. Manu were in decline long before he got there.
Spain was an odd one as he struggles speaking English never mind Spanish. Europe will be a no no for him now.

LOL. What about the spanking in Kiev? Was that in the name of entertainment?

The signs are good, last season Robles came in and stamped a claim, he was dropped at the first chance, Galloway also came in at 1 point and looked a player, he was dropped for Baines at the first chance, the last few weeks we have seen Robles retain a place, Oviedo and Mori have all been given a chance and taken it and retained them.

Its subtle changes that suggest hes starting to be aware of whats needed.

He still talks utter tosh in every interview and really should keep his mouth firmly shut.

But sadly the battle for this season is over.

Battle lines were drawn and Martinez marched The Cult over the top where to be frank, they met with little Plotter resistance, they scattered like the knee jerking Mark Hughes Cultists they are.

A few have wondered out and braved the Atomic winter, but they are damaged and its unlikely they will ever be able to enter a battlefield with the mental state this long battle has left them with.

Clean your weapons and prepare your pie charts, we resume again in May.

United was an awful day just generally, not sure I'd hold that one against any team.

Have to admit my standards for cup games are a bit different than the league games as care less about the performance than the results.

Even if you include them though that makes 7 out of 17 home games, could be better but certainly doesn't seem like most of the games and surely offset by some really entertaining ones?
