I think he has failed us by qualifying for the Europa League then ballsed up again by winning the group. He should have learned that we should concentrate on the league so we can qualify for Europe.

We haven't had any decent shape or consistent passages of play in games all season. In my opinion we're still struggling to adapt to Barkley's return, even now after him being back 6 weeks or so.
Martinez wont play him where he belongs. Only after taking Eto'o off today did he give him the centre of the pitch to operate in. I have no idea what's going on in that head of Martinez's, but the first choice every game should be to name Barkley in the acm slot and keep playing him until he gets back in the groove of operating there.
I just dont get Martinez viewing this any differently. He's been weak accommodating Naismith and now Eto'o. He really needs to get a grip on this and act decisively. It's killing us that he starts Barkley out wide (and in the process leaving us short of a wide player to help Coleman out too).

Yes, that's exactly what he should say. Because it hurts moral more if you know your manager is chatting complete crap in public no matter what you do. It encourages a lack of effort.
All I'm seeing with him centrally, is him getting isolated with too many defenders...not saying he shouldn't play there but it has its issues ATM.
