Hes set the team up well IMO, its about the players and the managers ability to make subs at key times.

His failure to address the goalkeeping issue in the summer could cost him his job if he isn't careful. I think he could potentially be a successful manager at the club but the crowd turned nasty last season and could do again as Howard makes mistake after mistake.

First position I would have strengthened tbh. It is no coincidence that we finished 4th with Martyn in goal and were successful with Big Nev. Howard has been a good player and servant to the club but he has looked finished for a while now at this level.

It was a priority in the summer the two we have were awful last season as well

Then why was everyone wetting themselves about being down to no cover in Central defence, picking up a number 10, wingers and another Striker to replace Kone?

Do we have to drag up the transfer thread and see how many people were desperate for a high priority change of Keeper?
I bet not many.

Which keepers that were available and we could have realistically got would you have gone for? Butland was signed and sealed well before the window opened before you start and Ospina has been dreadful when given a chance.
