Ash, it's because he's Kenwright's boy. He could turn up and say to the players the wombles are taking over the training session today lads, it wouldn't make a feckin' difference. He'll be there, brown shoes, arms crossed at Wemberly, for the semi.
aye but if the players won't play for him, or don't believe his methods will work then the game on saturday is already lost before we have got there.

Which is why the fanbase want him gone now.

Changed my vote from 'in' to 'out.' Shown him enough patience, but now it's gone on long enough. It's not good enough, and that last night was an absolute shambles.

He's clearly lost the players. There's very little support left amongst the fans. Just can't see anyway back for him now.

I was wrong. I supported Martinez up until the derby, thinking of the fantastic football that was played, the best I've seen since I started supporting Everton during the Walter Smith - era , except for the defending obviously. There has been too long now that the defence has not been good enough, and when the good offensive play also is gone, then I too have given up on him. He should be sacked today. I should never have stood by him for so long, I was so wrong.

GOT loves sinners that repent

Frustration is setting in now for me. Mostly because I'm helplessly hoping that he gets the boot before lunchtime whilst also knowing full well that he will be on the touchline on Saturday.

If we lose Saturday, which is highly likely, he must be sacked !!

I thought he might get till the end of the season - regardless of my opinion of i think he should go this morning or last night after the game.

If we get beat on Saturday, he should be removed straight away. Bit like Ancelotti was against us that time, in the corridor right after the match.

I'd prefer us to do it live on air as he's halfway through his waffle about how a 6-0 defeat at Wembley is a positive.
