This is Sunak’s big try to get the Conservatives re-elected, he seems to be giving up all pretence of standing on a broad platform of traditional conservative policies and has decided that the only way he can make them electable is to appeal to the extremist fascist views of the right wing electorate. It appears to me that he feels that if he can reduce the next General Election into a referendum on immigration it may he his only chance of being elected.

* You can’t get a train instead because the staff are on strike.
* You can’t get a Doctor’s appointment.

* The government are banning any kind of protests.

As has been apparent since he was picked, they are going to fight along the culture lines. Sunak's Indian heritage, they seem to feel, allows him to make immigrants the battleground. Same reason that we have seen Patel and Brverman fronting the attack on immigration.

Nailed it mate, they have gone full on BNP/EDL/UKIP to try to rally the bigots, racists, fascists behind their vote.

They sicken me to be honest, it’s deplorable the lengths they are going to, to make immigration and race the big issue, when we’ve got many other massive problems that the Tory party have created that need addressing much more quickly and importantly - the opposition should not even engage them on it.

I’ve never, ever could vote Tory, but I could respect some of the old Tory ministers, like Heseltine and Clark, even major to a degree, and I get how they got votes back in the day.

This lot represent the absolute worst qualities of this once great country - only scum could vote for these people.
