This boy is a top player but I’ve never been convinced of his commitment to us, but then have we provided him with the best opportunities to win things. I am sure he wants the opportunity to play in the Champions League and at the top of the league, have we really shown any real evidence to get there? Our current transfer dealings must make him very excited.

That german side were made up from the lower teams of the bundesliga. Watching the highlights it looked like a kids game. All over the place they were.

Believe it or not there is middle ground between crap and we shouldn't sell for less than 9 figures. Glad he's able to play well in a youth tournament after four full PL seasons.

I get that. But any decent player surrounded by dross is going to eventually look like the dross around him and then give up

He has real weaknesses in his game, they showed up in his first tournament this summer when he was on the most talented team.
