Up to now we have all stipulated what we have wanted and we keep getting blown away. I have a new attack plan for this. to fit in with the law of sod and await a turn in misfortunes I have this:-



I personally would like to see no new faces and have no one at all ever invest in our club. I do not want to progress and would like to slide down the table.


If current history is to repeat itself then I am sure I will be left disappointed and will have you all laughing at me when we sign some world class additions, make it to the champs league (again) and have Paul McCartney invest in the club.

Also, this may be the first thread that the doom and gloom merchants may actually enjoy.






If you take me too seriously then quit football and this site and go and grow mushrooms and I will keep you in the dark and feed you with more [Poor language removed].

I think leeds are great. we should copy them. hopefully soon we can rekindle some of our oldest rivalries against teams we haven't played since the 1900s. And Accrington Stanley.

Methinks us Evertonians should show more STOICISM.
"Stoicism teaches the development of self-control and fortitude as a means of overcoming destructive emotions"
- the despair of the past weeks
"A primary aspect of Stoicism involves improving the individual’s ethical and moral well-being"
- I remind myself of just what a big club, a famous club, a historic club Everton is, what a good manager Moyes is, and the fact that we can and shall bring in players before the close of the window.

It makes me feel calm.

- I'm clear that Bill has done his best, but in the modern Premier League; with all this foreign money coming in and with the "Monopoly" money from SKY and UEFA... in order to compete long term we do need a BILLIONARE, whom is sound in thinking and whom can see what Moyes and Everton FC are. I believe such investment will be forthcoming...

and will sort out some of the negative parts of the organisation of the club, including the commerical arm/partner particuarly merchandise.
