Return of fans to stadiums to be controlled by Ballot

I would take a punt at assuming it is because all season ticket holders are valid to go, so they would have to hold a ballot for that too and they don't want to complicate it.

It wont be. All season ticket holders are valid to go but would season tickets arent sold on the basis of getting free entry to ladies games. Nor would all 32k season ticket holders go to the ladies games.

A simple register your interest form would be fine for the ballot. first 300 get it or whatever the max capacity would be. Could have been a great way to promote the ladies as people would be despeate to watch live footy.

Odds are its probably a venue issue. Not set up for safe COVID measures when the stand there is used for the subs to sit 3 seats apart (you can see this on their highlights. With it being an actual 'ground' it probably has a safety certificate that needs certifying as well. Might be that they can't identify a allocated 'space' with the standing area around the pitch so can't guarantee a distance?

I read the ballot message and was about to bid until I read the CEO message from which I gather that I am not eligible as I do not live in the "Liverpool City region", whatever that means. Where do they draw the boundary for the ballot?

Unless you live in the LCR, (tier 2), you are bannoed. I assume, that when/if where you live becomes tier 2, then all good.

Hope that helps

I went home & away with my son prior to March 23, I have saved £200 a week since March, I now have almost £5,000 in a savings account, & can watch every Toffees game in my home, with my son, how [Poor language removed]' good is that !!!!!!!

Do you actually live in Cornwall, or are you just being facetious?
Facetious. The CEO (C=Clown) specified the Liverpool City Region. What is that pray? One of our members "Roydo" guessed it meant anyone in a Tier 2 (anywhere?). As I am in a Tier 2 but not in the Liverpool City region (whatever that is), I have no idea if I am eligible. I no longer care.

No it’s anyone who’s in the Liverpool city region (Liverpool and surrounding areas). I weren’t having a go mate, I just meant, if you actually live in Cornwall, then no, you’re not eligible. But if you live in the vicinity of the city you might be.
