Return of fans to stadiums to be controlled by Ballot

Anyone know if food and drink is available to buy in the ground. I’ve been told to get there for 6:15.

bit of a stretch to just sit in your seat for 3hrs.

Is their staggered time slots when leaving too? Otherwise bit pointless if everyone walks down the stairs and out together

Around 1,900 into a stand that holds nearly 18,000 hardly makes it crammed and inside, one of the 3 concourse's behind the goal where food and drink is sold has a depth of about 50 feet.

Also, supporters were let in at tdifferent time slots, I think starting 90 minutes before kick off (two of mates who who left our pub to go in, their time slot was 75 minutes befor K.O.)

Well from what I saw on telly they were close enough to hug each other!
And that with 3 sides empty.

Not complaining, I’d personally go to a full stadium tomorrow. We survived 2000 years on herd immunity. I’m just saying it wasn’t what I expected. If they deem that to be safe, then why not fill the other 3 sides with the same concentration?

The two mates together were father and son so perhaps there was some families together may have counted to little of the closeness between some people.
One thing though, I'm sure the social distancing between people was much better controlled than in the Tottenham pub near the stadium I watched it in.

1.45 hours, dont forget this isnt going to be a easy walk like we are used to.
I would happily sit for an hour if I had a ticket

You’ll get no argument from me on corona contradictions. I’ve taken a dozen flights through lockdown. 2 metres apart through the airport, then squashed together on the flight, all breathing the same air.... and we know a “substantial meal” stops it spreading....

All I’m saying is if they can use one stand “safely”, then why not all 4?

I suppose cost could be a factor as they would need to have a lot more stewards and extra staff for the food outlets etc.
They do also have a few hundred in the corporate area so there isn’t actually 2,000 in the one stand.

When is the united cup ballot ?

I've copied this from the email I had from the Chelsea ballot

'Details of the ballot and ticket purchasing options for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester United on Wednesday, 23 December will be issued later this week.'

That was on Tuesday I think do should here something tomorrow I'd presume, that's the game I want to go to most
