Surprised by the love for the NEC away with red stripes. It has red on it!
My favourite away was that yellow striped Danka one. It was kind of disgusting and beautiful at the same time.
Salmon Pink IIRC

100% agree - it was great.Well, it helps that we won, but I think the club played a blinder with Retro Day.
From the old school programme, to the Subbuteo team line ups on the big screen, to the old school graphics, the mega confusing but funny ABCDEFGH etc listing of half time/full time scores, the stick man graphics for bookings and GOAL!!!! flashing up on the screens when we scored.... I thought it was great and added to the day.
A full house too. The Fan Zone was absolutely rammed, they've increased the size and had a massive marquee with everyone on the ale.
Hope Retro Day becomes an annual thing.
Good idea this, from someone who was lucky enough to be a young man at the games in the 80's.
Nothing will beat that 85 season I don't reckon.
Wish i could re live it and enjoy it even more (not that i didnt at the time, but i didnt realise that thats as good as its gets at the time, sadly).
Yup I enjoyed it. The fan zone was great, caught Snods and Cliff Marshall being interviewed by the compere bloke and the band they had on were decent as well. Did anyone else pick up the programme book, well worth the tenner!
Agree 100%It does the Ball Harvey Kendall era with the championship title in 1969/70 season - the best footballing blues side I have ever seen!
