Boss away retro shirt.

Too similar to the Sh!tes current third kit.

Anyone remember the white shirt late 80s I think with the thin blue lines (diamonds) what a boss shirt but I don't even think they wore it if they did it must have only been once or twice. think it was third kit during the diamond blue and away yellow seasons. If anyone could find a pic of that!?

I've still got that top at home with my name on the back, only top I ever got my name on.

Also got this beauty

Arghhhh can't post reply with pics yet

I wore that Salmon away shirt when we played Arsenal. My mate being a big arse fan made me sit in the new Northbank. The sun ran a capture caption as one of our lads wore his blue top and they sent a couple of hundred quid to him for having a big pair of goolies. I was two rows directly back from him !Gutted! Should have worn the blue top and split it. Worse thing of all Wrighty Scored that belter. Sorry lads had to get it off my chest it's been living with me for a long time thats one off the shrink list. Anyway back on track.....

The Everton 3rd kit from 1988. Remember exactly where I was the day I got this - I was on holiday in Wales with my mum & dad & brother, and bought this on the same day we signed Tony Cottee, breaking the British Transfer Fee record for a player.

Those where the days!

was that when we got beat 4-2? We were winning then drawing then getting beat then drawing ( and they were all early goals ) then they webbed us in the end. Not sure if that was the same game but sure I remember a pic of 2 blues on the front row and it was posted in the papers saying they were brave lads!

I only buy the classic Retro shirts, it is if they are timeless and look good no matter when they are worn.

Love this shirt.

Not at home to post a picture, but the oldest one I have (showing my youth) is the 1998 home kit with "10" on the back. Mum had to meticulously steam the "Speed" off it when he went to the barcodes. Wish I'd known then what I do now, like :(

Good idea this, from someone who was lucky enough to be a young man at the games in the 80's.

Nothing will beat that 85 season I don't reckon.

Wish i could re live it and enjoy it even more (not that i didnt at the time, but i didnt realise that thats as good as its gets at the time, sadly).
