Reports: Schneiderlin and Mirallas

For anyone saying the players can legitimately refuse to be coached by "kids", it's hardly that anyway whilst the session is under supervision.

It hardly amounts to a dereliction of duty from Unsworth, and certainly wouldn't be allowed impact on preparations for a game.

Twenty minutes for gods sake, nothing in the course of a day, and could make a huge difference to the confidence and future career of a young person taking part, to work even for this short time with the first-team squad. Anyone right-minded and with any generosity of spirit at all, would be delighted to participate.

Great idea from Unsworth, reflects well on the club as does so many other things.

Fair play to those who chose to participate in the session, and to Duncan for standing up to a couple of spoilt brats.

Not only should we bin the per of rats right off, we should publicly shame them even further and have the club make statements on what a per of knobs they are. Never liked Mirallas and his attitude anyway and obviously Schneeiderlin is cut from the same cloth. Bury the per of then. Mirallas has always been tosh anyway bar a handful of games over the years and no amount of ability can make up for such disgraceful behaviour from Schneeiderlin as his attitude will always be far more detrimental to the club.

We aren't in a position to be allowing two good players leave.

I don't care. If they are dealt with appropriately then apologise, then they shouldn't be sold for the sake of 'Everton tho, lad'.

Schneiderlin has developed into an extremely poor player in less than a year while Mirallas has been one for 3 years. It says it all that when we need players to step up to the mark these two no-marks can't be bothered to show up on the pitch or in training. All an apology may do is get them 'selected', that way they will stand in the way of Baningime and/or Lookman and Valasic. No thanks. Get rid for the sake of Everton - definitely as they offer nothing.

Bad eggs ( apologies to @Eggs ;) )drag a team down and should be got rid of !

No example of Schneiderlin ever having this issue before.

He was Saints' captain for a good while during his best form for them. He was excellent last season for us when he came in.

He can be a vital cog in this side. We're a better team with him - playing well - in it than without.

I can't remember what the issue was, but does anyone remember when Bobby Gould had Robbie Savage come to a press conference with him, to make him apologise for something?

Not saying that should be done here, player power is too great anyway, but a lot of them seem to think they can do whatever they like these days.

Mirallas is finished here. Schneiderlin we have to be careful not to cut off our nose to spite our face. There is a player there, if he can have an attitude transplant and come under firm management.

How many times has Mirallas done this now, actually that doesn't matter as he seems to have a weird relationship with the fan base who always back him and when he's not playing they blame the manager. Moyes, Martinez, Koeman and now Unsworth have all had problems with this guy - please don't let him have another chance.

As for Schneiderlin he looked like he deliberately got himself sent off against Lyon so I have no desire to seem him back out on the pitch for the foreseeable.

The new man will have them both in and square it up.

If they act like tits with him, they'll be out of the door, but I doubt that'll happen in the short term.
