reports from last night

A lot of disappointing comments on their forum regarding this. Very much doubt it happened. Already been mentioned but anybody being hit by a glass bottle from height would still be in hospital now.

IF it did happen then those who did it should be caught and dealt with appropriately. Their comments are actually reflecting pretty poorly on their own support given what Everton and our fans have done in the last 24 hours.

Imagine thinking that scousers are scum etc when we have just given so much money to help that young man.

Not a word of it until 18hrs after the game. Not a chance it actually happened. If it did it would have been all over social media last night. I mean it's not like the game passed off without anything notable happening either on or off the field.

Lets not give the pond life who dreamt this up any more attention as it is blatantly obvious that is what they are seeking.

I was watching SSNHQ about half an hour ago and they spend about an hour on Everton and only about two minutes on us (of the bit I saw).

This shows what you're dealing with in that thread, 30 mins ago he was watching sky where they showed Everton for 60 mins and Sunderland for 2.

He no math

Just an after thought.

If, and let's be honest atm it's a mahoooosive if, this happened surely given all the activity on not only tw@tter, faceache, etc etc but also their football forums last night NOT ONE SUNDERLAND FAN HAS ALLUDED TO ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY LINKED TO BOTTLE THROWING at the game.

NOT ONE

Blimey. People really don't ask for much evidence before taking the chance to label all scousers scum.

"Everton and Liverpool fans tend to be the worst as they come from a deprived City and live in conditions that you wouldn't believe. Most of them have outside toilets and a piggery in the yard."

"The whole city is a shithole from which the rats emerge every weekend"

Embarrassed for people making comments like that in 2016, especially from people in working class areas like Sunderland.

They've got the first bit about the city and living conditions mixed up with Birkenhead. Can you put them right ?

Thanks in advance x

So 3 bottles were thrown, people are claiming multiple Sunderland fans were struck and no one was hurt? It's a shame that bitterness has got the better of a few Sunderland fans here after a great night. Not that the ridiculous comments in that thread represent Sunderland fans at all.

If somehow it's all true, it's a shame 1/2 idiots out of thousands had to put a dampener on a great night.

Either way, the night shouldn't and won't be remembered for this.

Totally made up and exaggerated. Someone on the forum was actually praising our support, then I suppose it put their backs up.
