bily the lid did alright in his 14 minute appearance didn't he. Where's he been hiding the delapesque throw too? Bily for me anyway. He has it in the locker, just down to moylez to get it out of him. Gueye will in time get some games too

Never tracks back? I've obviously been watching a different set of Matches against Liverpool than you.

Defensively he's strong, he plays left-back for Russia.

Bily can be Pienaar's replacement, the ability is their, the effort and passion is there. The confidence is not.

Of course he hasn't seen the light of day much this season. There is a reason Moyes has chosen for this to be so. My close contact around the club tells me it all about pace his positioning is exemplary and has the technical skills but cannot keep up with the pace for 90. I'm sure we will have no choice to see him more now in the future. Then we can judge from there.

Pienaar and Arteta haven't got pace and aren't particularly strong either, yet they have both played on the wing for us. Bily is a lot more gifted technically than Pienaar.

Pienaar looks like usain bolt towards bily!! bily is that slow.. pienaar has a great center of gravity where he can turn and spin leaving the opposing player behind him Bily doesnt have that.. maybe Bily will come right for us and prove me wrong but i just cant see it.. So for me its big vic on the left or hopefully a new signing that will do a job in there

Not an easy task, for the most he was excellent down that left hand side, impacting positively on Baines. Who do you think it should be?

Osman was poor again today, that's not his position. I actually though Bily looked confident again when he came on.

Not sure how ready Gueye is or how effective he would be right now in that position.

Anyway, it's going to be difficult as that left hand side had been our most productive outlet in the team for a couple of seasons now.

Like most on here, I would like to see bily given a chance on the left, but we still need to bring someone in, because the squad is tiny. Personally I would like to see a young player from the championship, Adam Hammill looks good and for the money, £500k, you can't go to far wrong.

We are going to have to replace him really, I don't think any of the players are good enough replacements. Although if it came down to it, I'd give the nod to Bilya, who's looked a little more confident of late.

A shame he didn't have any pace, or he'd be GO for that position.

Mind you, I'd probably prefer him to Arteta at the moment.

He could well play inside left - we dont do winger here, a little bit of adjustment in term of pace, but for me far more effective then Pienaar - who incidently has reached snide status for me.

If he comes i think he will surprise a few with his quality, he doesnt have Pienaar pace, but can be equally direct with a better range of diversity and distribution, a good engine and work rate.
