He could well play inside left - we dont do winger here, a little bit of adjustment in term of pace, but for me far more effective then Pienaar - who incidently has reached snide status for me.

If he comes i think he will surprise a few with his quality, he doesnt have Pienaar pace, but can be equally direct with a better range of diversity and distribution, a good engine and work rate.

I'd like him here but whether that happens, hmmm?

Glad you're on the Pienaar Is A Bad Snide bandwagon.

We need a Scot badly mate,

As for Pienaar massive bell for me, the way hes been through all this, lifting his skirt to get a place on wobbly heads bench and letting us down today - he doesnt give a flyer.

If he had anything about him, he would have said today "right this is my last game im going to give everything to get a result today to say thanks for what the club and fans have given me" what a game to do it, prob the game that means the most to the fans, it was all set up for him, but no he was prob down in London playing golf with Wobbily head. Bad Bad Ted!

Bet he picked up his wages this week.

Yeah, real shame the way it's all gone with Pienaar with the frankly awful way he has behaved.
Personally I'd love to see Bily light up LM and take the position as his.... or anywhere really :( I dunno why especially but I just really want him to succeed somewhere in our lineup - especially as (as far as I know) he has just been sitting on the bench patiently and not been trying to force a move elsewhere or complaining in the media etc, which is in total contrast to Pienaar.

Failing that I'd be interested about that Matt Jarvis fella from Wolves. He's put in a few good crosses this season from what I've seen on MOTD etc

I dont think pienaar has done much wrong. Hes sorting a transfer out, moyes has let him do that. Every game hes played hes given everything even this season. Hes given us 4 seasons of service and is movin on.

The big thing is finding who we get to fill his position and make it work. Its about us not him

Gotta be Bily's big chance now; if we dnt try him out now, we never will... im not 100% convinced by him but he hints at having whats required to do well here. Tbh I think alongside Baines, anyone with a good touch and a bit of hard work can look decent! Ossie is a good option but I prefer him centrally personally, I'd have him as Arteta's 'reserve'... lacks a yard of pace and the strength required to beat a man out wide for me, much better at linking play centrally... a good blue and a good footballer ossie, dont understand the abuse he gets from some quarters, a fine squad player.

Bily will never get used to the pace if he cant get regular game time. Give him 6-7 games in a row and he will come good.

Do we?!

Based on today's game I would say Anichebe looks like a best pick at the moment, he is excellent in holding the ball and creating a space for Baines, he also offers us an outlet for our hoofing playing against opposite's RB. His only weakness is his poor stamina when playing out wide; if he's being told to track back opposite's right back, he's dead aftera a hour.
