Watford have 9 games left and 3 are banker defeats in Liverpool, City and Chelsea all away. A draw at Burnley would be fine for us given that Watford’s next game is Liverpool away.
Hate to say it, but in my many years of following the game, there's no such things as bankers at the tail end of the season.
For a whole host of reasons, including teams with players already having their flip flops on waiting for the season to end, there's always been a tendency for a rogue result to pop up..
It's only this season we've got to hope we can be one of those teams to buck the form book.

Opening 7 games of the season. How did we go from that to this mess?

Probability with current form must be 50-50 to go down. A crushing defeat at Burnley isn't beyond imagination, and that would put us below 50-50 with fixtures left.

Been putting this out of my mind for the last week. The Leeds result against Wolves really took the wind out of my sails.

Just done the Echo predictor thing again and had us finishing on 38 points. Norwich, Watford and Burnley down. Brentford finishing in 17th on 32.

I gave us a win against Burnley which is possibly generous but even without those points 35 keeps us up. We definitely need an away win though and it needs to be either Watford or Burnley.

Be amazed if we get 38 points tbh.

I did it a while back and had us on 34 points, a point above the drop.

538 days 32% can be of going down. Win one we aren’t expected to and that drops dramatically.

yep it’s a game and anyone can win

Kind of feels silly to plan this monster trip to 5 different countries on 2 different continents to top it off with a championship league match at Goodison, before heading back to the states.

One to remember
