Beat Villa and we'll need 4 wins and 3 draws to stay up. 39 points should easily be enough to secure PL football next season.

We may not have a lot of options up front, but I believe we're finding a way to overcome that and potentially becoming a more dangerous opponent to face because of it as a lot of our outfield players are taking responsibility to get up there and get shots off and get their heads on the ball to make things happen.

Also, we are able to cope with injury to defenders and midfielders. We have good back ups in most positions, and I'm not sure other clubs in the relegation fight can say the same.

Palace will definetly be dragged into it. Their next 5 games are redshite, Villa, City, Brighton and Arsenal. 2 home games, 3 away.
And after that it is Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, Everton, Wolves, West Ham. If they don’t get much from the 5 they listed, the pressure will be on against their next 6. They’ll definitely be feeling it if that’s the case.

gives me hope....
Gracia is a sound appointment; a considered halfway point between the chaos of Marsch and the brutal defensive style of a traditional survival expert. But Leeds are simply among the three worst teams in this division.

It took a miracle-worker in Bielsa to get them up and make them competitive. Gracia, like Marsch, probably won’t be able to reach those heights.

If we beat Villa I will start to believe we can stay up. As you said up front we are really lacking options, so it’s going to be a grind. I agree 39 points should be enough, I’m just hoping we don’t go into the last game of the season needing a result, last season put years on me!

Gracia is a punt but he did do well at Watford briefly. Selles at Southampton for the rest of the season is also a risk, but that win at Chelsea will offer them hope.
