It’s a strange game to predict: Villa in their last 3 games have scored 5 goals but landed 0 points, we’ve scored 2 but have 6 points. I’ve no idea what to expect on Saturday.

If we beat Villa I'd be very confident of PL survival.
3 wins out of 4 is title winning form.
If we beat Villa then confidence - which is half the battle in these situations - will soar.
It'll also mean that we've beaten a top side, a middle of the table side and a relegation outfit. That shows we're capable of points every week. Winning one or two away from home would be the last thing to add after that. And it'd mean we've found a way of operating with and without a big mobile target man under Dyche.
And I was another.Frank probably should have been sent packing Bournemouth week, but I won’t have a go at anyone for backing him and hoping it would click and results would turn for us - tbf I was one of them.
I was just sick of blaming managers and sacking them, but it’s now clear the job was too big for him and he was too friendly with the squad and some of them downed tools on him. Add to the fact he made some shockingly poor decisions prior to and during matches that you will get with a young manager, and we end up where we are.
Fair play to those who called it much sooner than I.
I'd bite your hand off for a draw vs Brentford. That is far from an easy game. Need to beat Villa and no worse than draw vs ForestI think the teams up to Palace are involved. If you look at the past few games there isn't a lot in it in terms of points picked up between us all. Leeds and Palace have had the worst runs of form and Palace are in real danger of being dragged into the battle. Winning vs Villa is vital as we have a tough March with little potential for wins. Win that and the Forest game and we get a draw/win vs Brentford and I'll be very happy and positive about us staying up.

We bullied them in the cup under Lampard and in my opinion. we would have beat them again if we didn’t get a red when we lost 3 2. They are a good team but I think we can beat them at Goodison I think we can beat them and villa but it will be tough we just need to not lose games at Goodison.Yeah, that game will be very hard and we always struggle vs them but we have looked comfortable with Dyche so far at home. If that carries on I'll be confident.
If we beat villa, I think they could still be dragged into it personally. They should be safe, but they have lost the last 3. And while they had some good results with the new manager bounce, the games vs the relegation teams have been pretty tight and they have won by fine margins.I think the teams up to Palace are involved. I agree, but think winning at home is a must, particularly against teams like Villa.Need an away win to be very confident imo. Winning at Forest would be bigger for team's psyche for run in.
Said a week or two ago a mate of mine is a palace fan and he’s adamant they’ll end up in the thick of it . They can’t buy a win at present and as you say February into the end of March looks far from easy .Palace will definetly be dragged into it. Their next 5 games are redshite, Villa, City, Brighton and Arsenal. 2 home games, 3 away.
