I'm fearing the reason he hasn;t gone yet is that Moshiri is nowhere the decision making now. That means we'll see BK hand Frank chance after chance to get us clear.

I finally took the red pill last night and I can see that Lampard's ego wont allow him to set up conservativley even when threatened with a mutinous crowd demanding our precious top flight status is saved. At least when RM was doing that we were a fair few points and places off the bottom with an attack that could fire us out of trouble anytime they liked.

My concern is Bill is waiting for Moyes to be sacked, which may not happen.

Blackburn/Everton, slight difference in stature imo mate.

We'll see though, you could be right but I'd be very surprised if they aren't hounded out of this club once the inevitable happens.
Yeah of course. It was just a point that despite the universal fan hatred towards the Venky's, they've stuck around. Hopefully this will not be the case at Everton.

Five of our next seven are against teams around us.

The club need to do whatever it takes to ensure that we come out of those games in a better position than now. Other wise we are toast.

The question they must ask should be

Is Lampard the man to get the most points out of those fixtures versus a replacement?

I actually have convinced myself typing this that they will sack him after Utd and aim for a new manager bounce.

Whoever that may be.

Thats the smart play, so they wont do that.

lol lol lol
That's all very sanguine of you mate.

When something happens, we'll get to know soon enough. But, to be honest, I'm not that concerned because whatever does happen will not have any real impact on my life.

Here's another one for you...

Fairly sure when I last looked at fixture list it had Arsenal twice and RS away so surprised when you typed it out like that. Don't think Villa can be included in that either. By the time they come to Goodison they'll be 10 + points clear.

Southampton
Villa
West Ham
Leeds
Forest

5 teams.

Liverpool
Arsenal
2 teams.

2 plus 5 equals 7

Anyone thinks this is going to be close is still thinking we have Richarlison in the team, we will go down this season with us being bottom, when Southampton turn us over in the next game it will really hit home.

Me personally I can't see anyway out of this, as tonight when the news co.es out we try and loan Danny Ings but it got rejected, it looks like there has been lots and lots of planning by the clowns in charge ye right, typical Everton never fails to amuse us.
Soton will have to beat us by four goals. Even Brighton couldn't do this.

I know. If someone wrote this as a work of fiction they'd be laughed at.

You have always got grief when playing Devil's advocate mate when it comes down to anything to do with the club (total respect to you for doing it because someone has to) even when it's been about our new stadium. The way things are I'm wondering if the stadium will grind to a halt because of Moshiri looking to move on?

Villa could easily be comfortable top half by the time the late Feb game comes around.

I genuinely thought the Arsenal away game had been re-arranged for late Jan/early Feb? Would make sense before Arsenal start europa again as then midweeks become scarce.

Unless they're just going to drop it right at the end of the season which I wouldn't put past Sky. Really should be a limit in how long postponed matches can be delayed for.

I disagree I think he has set us up too conservatively, we've conceded 1 less than 5th place Spurs yet scored 23 less, we're way too defensive and creating no chances.

We average 3.5 shots on target a match so far with a conversion rate of 5.8%, if that isn't conservative I dunno what it is
