Do you think we would come right back up if we got relegated mate? I don't think we would.

Probably not mate, we'd need a total reset I reckon. A lot of players would need to leave, we'd need patience with a few youngsters, we'd need to be far better in the transfer market....basically all the things we are so bad at, we would need to reset.

Clinging on for dear life (like we currently are) so the parasites in charge get to keep making us look like a shambles is something I simply haven't got the stomach for. So if we go down, we go down but it will lead to change at the top of this club which is what is needed. Only then will.we have a structure where the right management and players are recruited.

Five of our next seven are against teams around us.

The club need to do whatever it takes to ensure that we come out of those games in a better position than now. Other wise we are toast.

The question they must ask should be

Is Lampard the man to get the most points out of those fixtures versus a replacement?

I actually have convinced myself typing this that they will sack him after Utd and aim for a new manager bounce.

Whoever that may be.
It’s clear after the recent run that Lampard needs to change his ideas and fast, or they need to bin him.

Due to the financial situation I’m not convinced they will sack him. They’ve sacked others for not as bad as this, but this is Everton, so they won’t do the right thing guaranteed.

I do too. Although I'm not at all confident of that.

Lampard versus teams at the bottom...I'd have more hope of Lampard v teams way above us when he knows we have to get the team behind the ball and play very conservatively.

The evidence of the last 12 months tells me that Lampard would have us wide open to counter attacks and a handful more defeats against 'lesser' clubs.

We have to get a new face in. There's nothing down for us if we dont have a new manager capable of realistically reading the room as far as the player' capabilities are concerned.

As things stand Dave, I'd be shocked if Lampard doesn't do an Ancelotti and stick about 5 centre halves in the back line now and try and claw his way out of this mess.

Absolute disaster last night after a crumb of positivity was chucked at him against City.

We'll see anyway but I don't think anyone should be thinking WHY ISNT HE SACKED YET!!! Take a step back, look at the clowns who are in charge of the circus and you'll see no decision that is for the good of Everton Football Club will be made by William Kenwright & Moshiri Productions

I think they won't be arsed about that game mate because it's the FA cup and an expected loss against the Manc's at Old Trafford. He'll get the Southampton game IMO, win that and he'll have a stay of execution, he'll get the transfer window because we won't spend any money because it will be all about loans.

I think 35 points might keep us up. So what's that? 5 wins and 5 draws from 20 games. Beating Saints and WHU would be a fantastic start.

Wolves away and B'muff at home are the final games. Unlikely we are clear by then and hopefully not out of it either.
It could be, but I'm thinking 36 minimum, relying on goal difference

It won't be 40 that's for sure.

36, 37 or 38 I see it as

The last thing they want to do is sack another manager and his entourage. It'll cost them another 10m to get rid. How do we know we even have that kind of wriggle room?

Do you remember when we sacked Martinez Lou? We wanted to pay him a few million and he wanted his full 12m. It went to an independent court and we had to settle on 10m, just for him. We then had to pay 5m to Southampton to get Koeman. Whikst he was Hollajd coach we were still paying him a severance package. We paid Watford a couple of million for Silva who then cost us a few million to sack him. Same with Allardyce.

I wouldn't be massively confident that we've got millions to sack another management team and then more millions to plough into another management team.
It's grim but the compensation will pale in comparison to the losses if we go down

I'm fearing the reason he hasn;t gone yet is that Moshiri is nowhere the decision making now. That means we'll see BK hand Frank chance after chance to get us clear.

I finally took the red pill last night and I can see that Lampard's ego wont allow him to set up conservativley even when threatened with a mutinous crowd demanding our precious top flight status is saved. At least when RM was doing that we were a fair few points and places off the bottom with an attack that could fire us out of trouble anytime they liked.

What's worrying Macca is I was looking at our board, DBB, Graeme Sharp, Kenwright and Grant Ingles, :(

The fact we're in the bottom three and what they intend to do about it.

They're still talking about a stadium down at the docks when there'll be no top flight team to put in it.

It's like watching Citizen Kane wandering around Xanadu.

We all know that Everton are in the bottom three and that the next step is to get us out of that situation, so there is no need to comment on something that is common knowledge. Had Frank Lampard been (or was about to be) sacked then an announcement would have been made, so we can assume that isn't the case and that he remains in place for now. The stadium will continue to be built regardless of the team that plays in it or what division we are in.

When there is a change at the Club, I am sure an announcement will be made.

Of course mate I get that but honestly we've barely spent a bean in 2 seasons and apparently we are still up crap creek. Maybe we get relegated and we get a big parachute payment to help offset it.

Genuinely, do we have the money to sack another management team? I don't know.

Genuinely, do we then have the money to replace it with a better management team than we have now? I don't know.

Can you imagine sacking Lampard and his motley crew, hiring someone else, avoiding relegation by 3/4 points then getting a 6 point deduction as we breached our spending!

I'm not saying it could happen, I'm just saying we've spent millions on utter clowns and yet we are still asking the ring master to chuck us one more clown again.

I'm gutted, Genuinely gutted. As a fan, as a dad who has a 14 year old son supporter, fkin embarrassed doesn't even cover how I feel. But I had a chat with him last night, when the inevitable happens and we go down, let's make peace with it now and focus on if that happens how the parasites sucking the life out of this club will have no more blood to feed on and will leave once and for all.
