Or at the very least finishing fourth and going in the CL?

If we DID finish 4th while Utd won the CL, we wouldn't get to PLAY a banana skin game like that, because we wouldn't be in the qualifiers.

Pointless anyways, didnt they change the rules a few years back so that the winner gets a automatic additional spot these days in the event of them not finishing in the qualifying places in their respective domestic leagues, so all itd mean is 5 teams from england go their

Didn't they change the rules this year that the winner has the right to enter the CL if they don't qualify through the league, but it wont affect those who qualify legitamly through the league - ie top four qualify regardless and five teams can qualify!
