Been lurking a long time on this thread&scot thread because I was genuinely interested in how scots footy was going...love hearing about it...to say im disapointed is an understatement in the way its seems to be dragged back by knuckles...by knuckleheads...enough of name calling&nonsense..hopefully we are past those cave days...I wish all sides in Scotland no matter what colour/creed or religion all the best in what "used" to be football..is mise le meas Risteard

Gerrard will be panicking now that he actually has to go and win the SPL title. Things just got a lot harder for him.

8 points and an inferior goal difference is already a hard deficit for him, thankfully they have the easier game tomorrow against 3 bottom Dundee while an unsettled Celtic have to go up against a Hearts side who usually step it up against them

Next season yeah

This season he'll get away with a strong 2nd
It depends just how close Rangers are to Celtic and being a clear second.

He needs a trophy of some description in a season where Celtic have clearly been poorer than they've been for a long time and their manager leaves them with 11 SPL games to go.

I wonder if Barry’s youngest will ever ask “Dad. Why did you make me wear a scarf that said STICK YOUR ROSARY BEADS UP YOUR A**E?”

And this is the guy they choose to speak out against sectarianism? :)
Ha Ha Ha.

Could the Record have chosen a more inadvertently revealing photo than that?

FFS, I remember when that one paced donkey was on the verge of joing us when Moyes went for him. What a near miss, the scumbag.

In fairness, it would have been a Rangers fan who threw that scarf, and Ferguson just picked it up.

As a Celtic fan I’m not predisposed to praise Rangers players but Barry Ferguson was a good footballer. He was in a very good Rangers midfield that knocked Parma out of the Champions League when Parma were a very good side.

Doubt it. It's orange and would have been known by Ferguson to be likely to have anti-Catholic slogans on it. He's thick, but not that thick.

True but they have sunnier temperaments.

It seems to me the problems regarding Catholic schools are in two countries. Two countries where the Orange Order are still popular.

In my opinion, bigotry comes from the home. Schools have absolutely nothing to do with it. They have black and Asian kids in schools with white kids and it doesn’t seem to have done a lot to prevent racism.

If your parents are decent folk, then the chances are you’ll be a decent person. If your dad is like Alf Garnet, or the guy from Love They Neighbour, chances are you’ll be a racist, and a bigot, no matter what school you go to.
