I wasn’t sure he had it in him but I thought Gerrard tactically got it right and the team performed at the top of their game , 1-0 flattered Celtic . I don’t know if the rangers players forced that performance out of brown or its age catching up with him but he was very poor . Still a long way to go but could at least be interesting.

Brown isn't technically gifted whatsoever.

I suppose if Kenny Miller can score plenty in that league pushing 40, then Defoe should still score plenty at 36.
