I live in a coastal area, surrounded by beaches so a lot of our summers were spent there, had a mate once who thought it would be a great idea to bring his boogie box (portable tape recorder for the under 40’s) to the beach and blast out his Chubby Brown tape, the packed beach were kept amused for 2 whole loud hours…. I remember getting legged everywhere by older kids. For no particular reason other than to catch you and give you a good shoeing

We used to play manhunt with air pistols.

It became very frightening and deadly serious, when you were the last one to get caught and about a dozen lads were after you with air pistols

Bonfires ... jacket potatoes in bonfires. Making dens in the back garden and cycling about aimlessly for hours.

Oh and chemical warfare using fermented urine piped into a neighbour's den after I fell out with him.
