For those who know the area there's a huge house halfway down Grassendale Road. It looks like the one in the opening credits of Scooby Doo. It will forever be known to me as the Witch House.

It was recently bought and is being renovated if it’s the one I’m thinking of, on the corner of Eastern Drive. It was run down for ages.

Yes that's it. I always thought if I won the lottery I would buy it and do it up- regardless of the witch!

Nobody has mentioned the greatest non-footy related game ever yet... Manhunt. A bit like hide and seek, only if you were fast, cunning, and prepared to 'trespass' a little bit, you could make a right [Poor language removed] out of your mates.

It has so much potential, however it had been declined into a state of real disrepair under the previous owners - who hadn't owned it that long.

They're doing some lovely work on it, with planning records suggesting it will become a residential home for those with ASD or SLD/PMLD.
